General: With an aim to help the experts in the field of Audio and Video industry to understand AVS standard and develop AVS products, as well as strongly required by many AVS members, the AVS Workgroup secretariat has organized specialists to translate into English the Information Technology Advanced Audio and Video Coding Part 2-Video (Output draft for approval) (Hereinafter called AVS Part II). At present, the English Versions for AVS standard has come out and is available. The reference translation will be provided in PDF format.
Eligibility:The reference English translation specification of AVS Part II- Video (Output draft for approval) will be provided by e-mail to the individuals or Entities who are involved in AVS research and have paid all necessary charges. The decision on who is qualified to get the reference translation of AVS Part II is at the sole discretion of AVS Workgroup Secretariat. If a potential buyer is considered eligible, the AVS workgroup secretariat will keep touch with the contact person through the information you have registered.
Responsibilities: The purchasers must provide genuine contact information and pay all necessary fees for the reference translation they ask for. The AVS workgroup reserves the copyright, any individual or legal identity is prohibited from copying, modifying, reproducing the copy offered by AVS workgroup or transferring the copy to any third parties in whatever form. The violator will be held responsible for the damages incurred by the breach and shall be subject to penalties. The user shall purchase the English Version on basis of voluntary and rational principles. If there is any inconsistency between the original Chinese National Standard Version and the English Version, The Chinese version prevails. The AVS workgroup provides the English Version for only reference purpose. The users shall agree to exert rights without infringing the right and interest of AVS workgroup and be responsible for its own act. If the buyer use, or attempt to use the material for purposes other than internal utilization, the consequent liabilities and damages to the third parties or the AVS workgroup will be born by the violators. |
